No prob bro. I was in the same boat about a year and a half ago.
A sleeve or cylinder wall is about 5mm thick, and on the Z it has a stock internal diameter of 87mm. The stock sleeves (or cylinder walls) will not be thinned. Instead, they will be taken out completely. The hole where they resided will be cut bigger and a new larger diameter sleeve (cyl wall) will be inserted. It will have an internal diameter of 91mm and it will be about 5mm thick.
You really have to get a good look at the insides of the VG30 to get a really clear idea. Basically Nissan was very conservative in their size of pistons.
